Consumer Safety Guide & Warranty Return Policy

Warranty Policy

Limited Manufacturer Warranty — 1 Year Coverage

HALO Hydrogen Water LLC provides a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal personal use.

Warranty Covers:

  • Malfunctioning electrolysis system

  • LED display defects

  • Manufacturing defects related to casing, chamber, or seals

Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, drops, or improper maintenance

  • Damage caused by non-approved charging equipment

  • Water damage from improper lid sealing or repeated activation cycles without proper venting

  • Unauthorized modifications or disassembly

How to Submit a Warranty Claim:
Contact customer support with proof of purchase, order number, photos of the defect, and description of the issue.

Shipping & Return Policy

Shipping

  • Orders are processed within 1-2 business days.

  • Domestic orders typically arrive within 3-7 business days.

  • Tracking information will be provided upon shipment.

  • International shipping may require longer delivery times and additional customs fees.

Return Policy

At HALO, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return process, subject to the terms below.

Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of the original delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be unused and in original condition

  • Returned in the original packaging, including all accessories and materials

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Note: Used or visibly worn products may not qualify for a full refund and may be subject to a restocking or sanitation fee.

How to Initiate a Return

To begin a return, email our support team at support@halohydrogen.com with:

  • Your full name and order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos of the product (if applicable)

Once approved, we’ll send you a return shipping address. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a damaged or defective item.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued back to your original payment method once the item is received and inspected. Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to process after approval.

Refunds are for the product only and do not include original shipping costs, unless otherwise stated.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Opened or used water bottles

  • Clearance or promotional items marked as final sale


Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrived damaged or not functioning as intended, please contact us immediately at support@halohydrogen.com. Include:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the damage

  • A brief explanation

We’ll make it right—either with a replacement, store credit, or full refund.

Warranty vs. Return

This return policy is separate from our HALO Product Warranty, which covers defects in materials or workmanship beyond the 30-day return period. See our warranty terms for more.

  • HALO offers a 30-day return window from the date of delivery.

  • Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition.

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping unless item is defective.

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days after return inspection.

Exchanges

  • Defective items may be exchanged for a replacement at no cost within the warranty period.

By purchasing or using HALO products, you agree to:

  • Operate the product in accordance with the provided User Safety Guide.

  • Not tamper, modify, or disassemble any component of the product.

  • Follow all safety and maintenance instructions.

  • Release HALO Hydrogen Water LLC from liability related to misuse, negligence, or failure to follow product instructions.

  • Understand that HALO is not a medical device and does not treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Safety Certifications & Compliance

HALO bottles are fully tested and certified, passing multiple global safety standards:

  • FCC Compliance (US Federal Communications Commission)

  • CE Compliance (EMC Directive 2014/30/EU for electronics)

  • UN38.3 Certification for safe lithium battery transport

  • Drop Test Certified (1.2 meter impact-tested battery system)

  • IMDG Shipping Compliance for hazardous material exemptions

All certifications are on file and available upon request.

User Safety Guide

Important Usage Instructions:

  • Always use purified or filtered drinking water.

  • Do not use flavored, carbonated, or mineralized waters inside the bottle.

  • Only use HALO-approved chargers and cables for safe operation.

  • Do not expose the bottle to extreme heat or freezing temperatures.

  • Keep the USB-C charging port dry during use and cleaning.

Operating Instructions:

  • Fill the chamber to the designated fill line (never overfill).

  • Tighten the lid securely before activating hydrogen production.

  • Press the start button to activate the 10-minute infusion cycle.

  • Allow pressure to release between consecutive cycles to avoid over-pressurization.

Cleaning Instructions:

  • Clean bottle regularly with warm water and mild soap.

  • Never submerge the base unit in water.

  • Do not use harsh chemicals or vinegar-based solutions for cleaning.

Things to Avoid:

  • Do not attempt to tamper with, disassemble, or modify the bottle or electrolysis system.

  • Do not run repeated cycles back-to-back without allowing proper venting between cycles.

  • Do not attempt to operate the unit if you notice unusual sounds, leaks, or damage.

  • Never attempt to recharge with damaged or non-approved chargers.

Pressure Safety Warning:

Repeated activation cycles without proper venting may cause pressure build-up. Always allow time for pressure to normalize between activations to avoid possible seal rupture or leaks.

Important Reminders

Failing to follow these steps will jeapordize longevity of your bottle and void your compliance with our warranty policies.

Never run multiple cycles without releasing the pressure. (opening lid)

After each hydrogen infusion cycle, it’s critical to briefly loosen the lid to release internal pressure before starting a new cycle. During the electrolysis process, HALO separates pure hydrogen gas (H₂) from oxygen and other gases through advanced SPE/PEM membrane technology. If pressure isn’t vented between cycles, oxygen and trace gases can accumulate, putting additional strain on the membrane, seals, and chamber. Releasing pressure allows the system to reset safely, ensures proper oxyhydrogen separation, protects long-term performance, and maximizes hydrogen purity for every cycle.

Do Not use anything other than pure, distilled, or filtered water.

For maximum hydrogen infusion performance using clean, purified water only. Do not use flavored drinks, electrolyte mixes, carbonated beverages, mineral water, or any liquids containing sugars, additives, or carbonation. Using anything other than pure water may damage internal components, reduce hydrogen production, or void your warranty.

Never use any cleaning products like soap or vinegar to clean the base.

HALO’s internal electrolysis system is highly sensitive to chemicals and cleaning agents. Never use vinegar, bleach, harsh cleaners, or descaling agents. Clean your bottle chamber using only warm water and mild dish soap. Chemical exposure can damage the PEM membrane, reduce hydrogen output, or affect long-term durability.

Do Not Submerge The Base

The HALO bottle contains sensitive electronic components inside the base unit. Never submerge the base in water or expose it to running water, sinks, or dishwashers. Clean the base using a damp, lightly moistened cloth only. Submerging the unit will cause irreversible damage and void warranty coverage.
